Since there are only a handful of these experts in the world, who trains them and decides that they are at the highest level?
What to they do when they are at the highest level?|||Tenth, they%26#039;re trained by the current master of the style. At the highest level they search their routines (aka kata, forms) and try to find flaws that they can improve upon and teach others.|||10th..!!|||I believe the highest for any black belt is a 7th degree black belt, but it maybe a level or two higher.
I do know in order to ger it, your must preform a large number of segment moves, which are all combined together, that create the form for that belt.
I took Tae Kwon Do, year ago, but only went as far as getting my black belt until by instructor stopped teaching.
Also this could also differ from which style of Tae Kwon Do you take, I took ATA Tae Kwon Do.|||10th dan.... and when you reach this level.... you are admitted to a council of expert for research on the method of teaching that being used to be presented at the higher council.
if you past this level.... u will be on the higher council where this council will decide your theory method of teaching can be done or not.on this stage you will be called GrandMaster.....|||10th Dan is the highest, but a belt is a belt, its the experience and inner confidence of ones technique that will get you through.|||Tenth degree is the highest level in both. When such a level if achieved, the artist will simply live. He or she, if choosing to continue, will simply improve. There is never a time where one cannot learn something new. They can learn from others still who are more experienced than they are. Being the highest rank never means that you are the best. Like the childs game of rock, paper and scisors, each in turn defeats another. Never will you always loose, and never will you always win. It is simply so. When a martial artist reaches that level, he or she will also work harder now to improve themselves. Some start again at the begining, re-learning everything simply to know that they have everything down, improving stances, blocks, strikes, kicks, katas, forms, everything that their master or instructor taught them. They may teach, but then again, they may have already been teaching. They may seek greater training or wisdom, and go to the source of their style to learn more about their style. There are many things a person can do, like there are many things that one drop of water can do, yet the ocean is filled with them.|||For taekwondo i believe is it 9th. 8th degree and 9th degree is called grandmaster. 5th-7th is master, and 3rd-4th is instructor.
I%26#039;m not sure about karate but i believe it is 10th degree.
I know my stuff...lol
13 years of Taekwondo does it all...|||Tenth is the highest! Im 14 an a junior black belt! Trust me I know my stuff!|||10th Dan.
