Why can't the US military soldiers use Karate moves instead of guns on the front lines?

Wouldn%26#039;t that be more of a real fight based on real level of strength? Instead of ammunition which is just based on money?





It would also reduce war costs I think.

Explain.|||When Gulf War 2 (3 if you count the Iraq/Iran War) first started there was a case of an U.S. sergeant killing a guy with his bear hands, but the guy had a buddy with a grenade which he used to %26quot;take out%26quot; the sergeant. Sergeant Major Robert Prosser, Master Sergeant Anthony Pryor won medals for actions requiring hand-to hand combat. The British marines fought with and killed Iraqis with their bayonets because they could.|||I am shocked you asked this question but i will just assume your 7 years old. THe reason they dont is becasue wars are havent been fought that way for a long time pre USA country when guns were made in the far east, is when hand to hand combat took a back seat. Guns are more efficent killers one bullet moslty. AN it is harder and take more money to train a person to kill with out a gun or with just their hands or surrodings.|||That is like showing to a gun fight with a knife. lol





Seriously, this is a bad idea. No organization or country would agree to it. Everyone loves technology, even terrorists.|||The idea is to win at any cost. Hand-to-hand combat would only be appropriate if there were some sort of guarantee that the enemy was completely unarmed. There could never be a guarantee of that, so you must arm yourself as best as your country can afford.|||Because the way to win ANY Battle is to equip your troops with the best and most advanced capability. By giving them something that can b used to attack an enemy BEFORE they have the chance to attack you is just logical.|||because if one country put down there guns the other country would kill them and do you really think all them doped up towel heads are gonna put down there AKs? NO THEY BLOW US UP!!! nobody wants to get too close to the smelly fools they activate a body bomb and blast us into a million peices|||Would you really run empty handed to man shooting at you with an Ak47 from several hundred feet away????|||We could if we want. Its like allowing the USMC NCOs to carry their swords and use it in battle. But the type of battles in Iraq and Afgan, they wouldn%26#039;t even get close to the enemies most of the time.|||gosh.





but then again - my husband thinks we should just decide the war by having america%26#039;s best fighter (which he thinks is himself) step into the octagon with iraqi%26#039;s best fighter - winner take all.|||Wouldn%26#039;t work well against the guns on the other side, would it?
