The show said that the ref had one of his students competing. They go a little bit after he says stop. The ref walks over headbutts the young karate student (maybe late teens) when he wasn%26#039;t even looking. Then he kicks him and stomps his head. It was just a ridiculously stupid and mean thing to do. Would anyone have a link to that? I sure hope he got some jail time?
Has anyone seen similar lack of morality at other martial art events?|||Yes , I have seen this video and it created a buzz around the karate community regarding the action of this official.
Supposively, the person in the white Keikogi ( karate uniform) was the %26quot;referee%26#039;s%26quot; son. But that does not excuse his action against the other competitor ( dark kung-fu clothing).
Whatever the officials reasonings, the karate community did not look favorable in his direction.
Yes, there several event like this in other martial arts events, As I have seen one in the past. This one however, got caught on %26quot;video%26quot; and can preserved well into eternity.
It is a dark spot for all of us in the karate-do community.|||do you mean the fighter Yvel who hit the ref?
