Just curious. I myself am a shotokan practitioner.|||this is a japanese style a combination of Shorin (Itosu style and Funakoshi school) and Goju Systems (Higaonna Style and Miyagi school),
mostly based of of a kobujutsu sytem

Akido is not karate is similar like judo but more sophisticated and they do not go to the ground fight like judo. founded by Koretoshi Maruyama.
