|||If you are worried about the bleach destroying the fabric of the suit, you can try soaking it in a solution of 1/2 strength hydrogen peroxide, for as long as it takes for the mold to disappear. When the mold is no longer apparent, wash the suit in the washer with detergent, and the warmest water it will tolerate to wash out the peroxide. After the wash cycle, hang the suit to air dry---do not dry it in the dryer, until you are certain the black staining from the mold is gone. (you may still be able to see shadows on the garment when it is fully dry. If this is the case, it may require another treatment.)
IF the suit has patches, or other insignia on it that will fade with soaking in peroxide or bleach, you will just need to spot clean the mold with the peroxide or bleach, in each spot.
Overall, soaking in bleach water is the quickest most effective way to remove mold, but it also destroys the fabric. Peroxide will remove the mold, but it may turn the parts of the garment that are not white a much lighter color. So, spot cleaning may be what is warranted here.|||If it%26#039;s not too bad...
Pore a half cup liquid detergent in a cup add a little bleach and mix together... then rub some directly on the mold and wait a few mins to see if it disapears. If not rub a bit more.
I don%26#039;t know how deep the mold has set in. But you should be able to rub the mixture in without damage. That is the only way to get mold out. Let it set for 5 mins then wash.|||Mold lives from moisture and bacteria and darkness.
Put the uniform where it is dry and exposed to light, near a window or outside on a nice day and the mold will die.
